<p>Avec cette recette d&rsquo;inspiration indienne, je vous emmène en voyage par les saveurs et les odeurs ! Je vous avais déjà proposé une recette de <a href="https://cuisineavecamour.fr/saute-de-poulet-au-brocoli-et-noix-de-cajou/">riz aux cajou et brocoli</a>. Cette fois, on prend plus ou moins les mêmes ingrédients et on prépare un « riz indien » qui sera parfait comme accompagnement sucré/salé. En plus la recette est très facile et rapide, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;idéal si vous êtes un peu pressé(e) !</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Les ingrédients</h2>



<p>Pour faire cette recette de riz à l&rsquo;indienne, il vous faut : </p>



<p>&#8211; du riz basmati : le grain est long et fin, c&rsquo;est mon préféré mais vous pouvez faire ce plat avec d&rsquo;autres types de riz. Évitez juste le riz rond qui a tendance à être plus humide et collant. </p>



<p>&#8211; un oignon : je prends un oignon rouge pour la couleur mais un oignon jaune fonctionne aussi </p>



<p>&#8211; des noix de cajou : elles apportent du croquant et des protéines en plus ! Je les achète crues et je les fais cuire quelques minutes au Air Fryer (à 160ºC) pour qu&rsquo;elles soient bien croquantes et dorées. Vous pouvez aussi les faire revenir quelques minutes à la poêle (à feu doux car elles brûlent très vite !) </p>



<p>&#8211; des épices : du curcuma, du cumin, de la cannelle, des graines de cardamome, du sel et du poivre. Elles ont toutes un goût délicieux et ont en plus de nombreuses vertus : le curcuma est un puissant anti-oxydant donc un allié anti-vieillissement. Il aide aussi à la digestion, comme la cardamome. La cannelle booste l&rsquo;immunité&#8230; Un cocktail parfait pour l&rsquo;hiver ! </p>



<p>&#8211; des raisins secs : je les préfère blonds car je les trouve plus petits et moins sucrés. Mais avec des raisins noirs, c&rsquo;est très bon aussi. </p>



<p>&#8211; un filet d&rsquo;huile d&rsquo;olive pour cuire les oignons. Je cuisine toujours à l&rsquo;huile d&rsquo;olive mais une autre huile de votre choix fera très bien l&rsquo;affaire. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Comment cuire le riz ?</h2>



<p>Je cuis le riz à la casserole. Je le rince d&rsquo;abord à grande eau jusqu&rsquo;à ce que l&rsquo;eau soit presque claire, puis je le recouvre d&rsquo;eau jusqu&rsquo;à environ une phalange (pour moi de petit doigt donc environ 1 cm) au dessus de la surface du riz. De cette manière, vous avez la quantité d&rsquo;eau parfaite pour que le riz soit bien cuit mais pas mouillé ! </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Avec quoi manger ce riz indien ?</h2>



<p>Ce plat ce marie très bien avec la viande comme le poulet et l&rsquo;agneau. J&rsquo;ajoute aussi une poêlée de courgettes ou haricots verts, ou une salade de carottes râpées, pour apporter des fibres. </p>
